Here is our fiberglass to gunite pool overhaul
The last 2 weeks Crystal Pools and Spas have been working in Baton Rouge. We tore out an existing fiberglass swimming pool and are replacing it with a gunite swimming pool with a new design/features. The owner a prior happy customer of ours decided instead of renovating his existing swimming pool he wanted an concrete pool. So the demolition began and as you can see in the photos the first step was ripping out the fiberglass pool and hauling it off. The next step was the following day and we had to dig the dirt in a new larger design. The new pool is equipped with a suntan ledge, benches, bubblers, and a raised stacked stone/stucco wall. My father and I plumbed the pool with new equipment and our electrician hooked up the equipment. We had our tile crew install the swimming pool tile, stacked stone, waterfall, and the 2″ travertine coping. Tomorrow we begin on the travertine paver decking followed by the plaster next week.
