Lakeview swimming pool on General Diaz for July 2012

Here is Crystal Pools and Spas newest July 2012 swimming pool.  This NOLA swimming pool will feature a raised brick and stucco wall with a waterfall and spitters with column’s and gas lanterns, a oversized suntan ledge with 4 bubblers and umbrella hole, a heat pump heat/cool unit, a baja blue plaster color, silver french pattern paver deck with 6X12 silver travertine coping.  This NOLA swimming pool also has a beautiful 1″X2″ cobalt blue glass iredescent tile, that really sets off the rim of the swimming pool.  This NOLA swimming pool was installed from the day we started digging to the day he was swimming, in a 2.5 week timeframe.  The aluminum gas lanterns are something else that takes this pool from being a nice pool to an elegant pool.  Little details like that is what makes showstopper pools turn into being breathtaking.  Give us a call or email and we can transform your backyard.  Anybody can build a pool that has water in it but we will take the steps to give the pool something that makes it breath taking.  Not only that but we are there in your yard, constructing the pool.  This is a major benefit of Crystal Pools and Spas, we don’t have too many projects going on so your pool is VERY important to us.  We build less than 20 pools per year by design.  We won’t fall into trying to build a lot of pools, instead we will work on jobs and give you the focus that you need.  Please come back for future updates during the construction of this beauty!!

Zachary swimming pool 2012

Here is our June 2012 swimming pool in Zachary, La.  This Zachary swimming pool is a 15’X40′ rectangle.  It will feature 3 deck jet spitters, 1100 ft.2 of travertine paver decking, suntan ledge with 3 bubblers and umbrella hole, tahoe blue plaster color, 2 500 watt lights, a variable speed pump, salt water, it will have a Polaris pool cleaner.   This Zachary swimming pool was a referral from a prior client and that is how Crystal Pools and Spas gets over 90% of our business.   Easy concept, make our client happy and build their friends and family swimming pools.  We are not out to build all the pools in Louisiana but instead we focus on our current client’s job.  We give the focus and dedication that a homeowner needs to not only make them have peace of mind but to construct a pool with integrity.

New Orleans Lakeview swimming pool

New Orleans Lakeview swimming pool

Here is Crystal Pools and Spas latest swimming pool June 2012.  This pool will feature a large suntan ledge with 3 bubblers and umbrella hole.  It will also have a 18″ raised spa with computer system.  This New Orleans Lakeview swimming pool will be salt water and will have a blue plaster color.  This New Orleans Lakeview swimming pool also has 3 deck jet spitters.  The spa will also have some diamond 2″x2″ fleur de lis tiles.  When digging the pool Kevin Knott manned the bobcat skid steer to spread out the dirt in the client’s side yard.  The decking was installed along with the landscaping by Mullin Landscaping.  They went with a man made Belgard paver and we installed a man made 9″X9″ Belgard paver on the coping.  Also, on this New Orleans Lakeview swimming pool the client had a pool house built.  In the house features, a keg machine, refridgerator, an ice machine, sink, bbq pit, pizza oven, fans and tv.

River Ridge swimming pool

This pool was dug and gunned last winter.  There is a home being built so the pool structure was put in while access was easy.  It is a grecian shape that is angled.  This River Ridge swimming pool consists of travertine coping, glass tile, travertine decking.  It will also have a heat pump heater, that will not only heat the swimming pool but will also cool it!  The pool will be plastered with a Tahoe blue plaster color.  Their suntan ledge has 3 bubblers and an umbrella hole.

Our Midcity New Orleans pool

Midcity New Orleans swimming pool

Here is our swimming pool located in mid city New Orleans.  This Midcity New Orleans swimming pool consists of an automatic pool cover on tracks, a raised brick wall with spitters, brick coping, silver travertine french pattern pavers with brick edging, chlorine with UV sanitation, a heat pump and cool system.  The pool is rectangular in shape and will have a bench on one end and the steps on the other end.  This Midcity New Orleans swimming pool tile and a cobalt blue color.  The brick on the coping and the raised wall were salvaged from the homeowner’s backyard during demo of concrete and brick area where the pool was to be placed.  The silver travertine french pattern pavers were outlined in the brick also, to tie in the decking with the pool. The owner had 6″ drainage ran from the rear yard to the street.   The cover is open and closed by a open/close switch by the back door.  The switch has a lock on it that only opens with a key, this is done for safety reasons.  The cover will keep the pool temperature warmer but will also prevent evaporation when the cover is closed.  Also, the cover will keep grass clippings and leaves out of the pool when the cover is closed.  The cover has a motor that opens and closes it and the process takes about 30 seconds to open all the way or close it all the way.

Our June 2012 Lakeview swimming pool on Memphis St.

Custom Lakeview swimming pool

Here is our current job started on June 18, 2012.  It is a rectangular pool with inverse corners and an offset suntan ledge that will be surrounded by a stucco and brick wall on the backside with spitters out of the wall.  5 bubblers on the suntan ledge.  The pool will feature country classic french pattern travertine pavers and we did a used New Orleans style brick for the coping edge.  This job took 5 weeks to complete.

Mandeville swimming pool

Mandeville swimming pool

Here is our latest job for May 2012 being constructed in Mandeville, La.  This Mandeville swimming pool is a grecian pool that will have a suntan ledge with 3 bubblers, a bench, travertine pavers, and 3 deck jet spitters.  The dimensions of this Mandeville swimming pool is 15’X38.5′.  The owner will add on to their existing home so this pool sits back on their 1 acre yard.  This Mandeville swimming pool was constructed in Kevin Knott’s neighborhood and was a convience to build for Crystal Pools.  We did get rained on a lot during this construction process but we fought through it.  We finished this pool in under a month from the day we dug the pool.  We designed the steps to be offset from the suntan ledge to cut down from how much length we might have taken from putting the steps in front of the suntan ledge.
