Lakeview swimming pool renovation
Here is a pool we are currently working on in New Orleans. The pool is rectangular and had leaking plumbing, a nonfunctioning skimmer, outdated tile and a concrete pool deck with bad slope and cracks. We first demoed the existing concrete deck and coping. We removed the diving board and stainless steel steps. We re-plumbed the pool, added a new skimmer, replaced the old skimmer, busted in new pool returns and added a Polaris pool cleaner line. We are converting the pool to salt water, adding a raised stone wall with water feature. We will also re-tile the pool with glass tile, install new coping and pouring a new concrete sub-deck. We will top the concrete with a man made contemporary paver and build a custom drain to handle the water and fix the slope. We are adding a 12′ bench to the pool, reconfiguring the steps into the pool and installing LED colored lights. Finally we will re-plaster the swimming pool. This pool will be a spectacular transformation!
