New Orleans Swimming Pool Contractor
This is Crystal Pools latest project for Febuary 2013. This uptown swimming pool is L shaped with suntan ledge and bench seating. It will have 3 deck jet spitters and double brick coping. The job took 4.5 weeks to complete and that was with a lot of rain during the construction process.
Here is our November 2012 Harahan swimming pool project. It is a very large swimming pool that is intended for swimming laps and entertaining. The pool swim lane is 60′ long plus has an entertaining area plus a suntan ledge with 3 bubblers and umbrella hole and raised brick wall with waterfall with flagstone cap and two columns with a spitter and fire-bowl on each on. There is a bench that is over 25′ long and on top of that it features a level spa with 7 jets. This pool will feature travertine french pattern paver decking, a 400,000 btu gas heater, 2 500 watt pool lights. The hot tub is surrounded by a pool house with gas lanterns, a fireplace, built in grill and bathroom.

Our latest job is a St. Charles Ave. swimming pool in uptown New Orleans. We started this beauty on August 2, 2012. This pool is rectangular with a raised negative edge glass tile spa with 2 deck jets spitting into the spa. We built a trough around the hot tub so that the water would spill over all 4 sides of the spa. The water always stays at the top of the spa giving it a sheet of glass look. The tile was a black iredescent 1″X2″ tile. The pool tile was black granite 6″X12″ to keep the proportion of the smaller rectangle glass tile on the spa. This St. Charles Ave. swimming pool is also salt water. We also, are building two columns off of a man made brick paver entrance that will have a gas lantern on top of each column which will give the backyard a true New Orleans authentic feel. The homeowner wound up thinking she would get a pool with nice decking and a normal raised spa but was blown away with this creation. She said she now has an adult pool that the kids can swim in versus a kid pool that adults swim in. This St. Charles Ave. swimming pool will feature travertine french pattern decking. Here is our June 2012 swimming pool in Zachary, La. This Zachary swimming pool is a 15’X40′ rectangle. It will feature 3 deck jet spitters, 1100 ft.2 of travertine paver decking, suntan ledge with 3 bubblers and umbrella hole, tahoe blue plaster color, 2 500 watt lights, a variable speed pump, salt water, it will have a Polaris pool cleaner. This Zachary swimming pool was a referral from a prior client and that is how Crystal Pools and Spas gets over 90% of our business. Easy concept, make our client happy and build their friends and family swimming pools. We are not out to build all the pools in Louisiana but instead we focus on our current client’s job. We give the focus and dedication that a homeowner needs to not only make them have peace of mind but to construct a pool with integrity.

Here is our current project of April 2012 being built in Baton Rouge. The construction took a total of 4 weeks and the rear yard allowed easy access. This homeowner contacted us with a pool we built 7 years ago, in uptown New Orleans. He loved the design/concept and we are duplicating the pool. It will be salt water, have a very large suntan ledge with 5 bubblers, a long bench, Tahoe plaster color, 3 deck jet spitters coming from his landscaping and a 2″ precast coping.
