Crystal Pools and Spas constructed a new pool (new construction). They handled everything from beginning to end. Jeff or Kevin were always on the job. They didn’t just leave plans with the subs and ask them to build this and come back later in the day to check on it. One of them stayed on the job at all times to make sure it was done right. It gives a great peace of mind when you are constructing a new pool to know this. Also, Kevin ran a drainage pipe at my house and didn’t even charge me extra for it. They go above and beyond to help you, and make sure you are satisfied. I have had this pool for three years now and we haven’t had any trouble at all. I am truly grateful that I went with them and would recommend them to my family, friends, and anyone else that is looking to build a pool. I don’t recommend people much so for me to put this on here says a lot. It was a great experience from beginning to end. They came out and gave me an estimate. Not only did they build the pool for the price they said, but everything was included that they put in the estimate. They truly care about making sure you are happy with the product/service they are providing. I can’t be more pleased with the whole process looking back and would do it all over again with this company if I could, or if I do decide to build another pool in the future. After our first visit with owner Kevin Knotts, we knew that Crystal Pools and Spas was the kind of company we wanted to build our little piece of paradise. Their crew was fantastic. They built us a beautiful pool with a waterfall and three bubble fountains which my grand babies love. The thing I love the most about this company is the integrity of both of the owners, Jeff & Kevin Knotts. When they said they were going to be there they were here 10 minutes before. Another thing is they were available on their cell phones for any questions we might’ve had. The quality of there materials was excellent. From start to finish of our pool took six weeks which is unbelievable. I really have no cons about this company. We were completely satisfied with our pool. The end result was awesome. Kevin has stayed in touch with us to see how tnings were going and if we needed anything. Since May we have had many parties and family get togethers. I only wish we would’ve done this years ago. Crystal Pools & Spas installed our pool and spa in the summer of 2011. They were very responsive and communicated with us throughout. Kevin stayed personally involved from start to finish and remains responsive to questions and minor issues. I think because they do not do a very high volume they are able to give each customer extra attention. When we had a minor issue with plaster he came right out to address them.

In 2012 when the pool was only a year old, we had a large tree fall in the pool during Isaac, causing damage to the decking and causing stains to the plaster. They addressed the damage, worked with our insurance adjuster, and made it look like new. He also replaced our pool pump at no charge, due to odd noises it was making (even though it was just over a year old and the manufacturer could have disputed the claim).

All in all, they are a great company to deal with and we’ve enjoyed our first ever pool.

Crystal Pools turned our dull, unused backyard into an oasis. The transformation was simply incredible and beautiful. We cannot even believe that its really our yard. It came out perfect thanks to Kevin and Jeff. We talked to and got quotes from some of the bigger pool companies, but noone else could offer us what Kevin could; an owner onsite doing work. That made the world of difference to us. Plus, Kevin was not shy about giving us his advice about what would look good together and what would not throughout the process. I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge and thank you, your father and your team for creating a great outdoor living area for David and I. We are extremely pleased with the pool and the overall design that you created for us. It is not always easy to incorporate the new with the old and make it look seamless. Your ideas were very helpful and your willingness to listen to what we wanted and ability to turn that into a finished product is clearly outstanding.

Once we agreed on the design, your attention to detail, delivering what you said when you said, along with you and your teams ability to address seemingly minor changes made what could have been a very stressful process a breath of fresh air. No request was ever too hard or not paid attention to. Your “can do” attitude sets you apart from other pool builders we have dealt with. Not only is the final product gorgeous but the construction was on time and on budget.

It has been about 1 year since our project was completed. As with any major construction project there are follow-up issues to be addressed. Ours were few and minor but your timely response and resolution has been excellent. It is easy to not answer a phone or respond to an email. That never happened. On all accounts Crystal Pools exceeded our expectations.

You took the time to build a relationship with us. That is more valuable than the pool. Thanks again for a great experience.

I grew up having pools and recently purchased a home that does not have one. So this was my first experience in having a pool built – and I was dreading the decisions, the slow pace at which my friends/neighbors said it would be have a pool installed. That was until I met with Kevin at Crystal Pools. We met, looked at pictures of pools that he and his father had built and I knew right away that they would do a fine job. Kevin said our pool would be complete in a matter of weeks – and as it turned out, he beat his deadline. As with all jobs, I expected delays due to weather, crews not showing up, lag in between subcontractors, etc. Not with Kevin and Jeff!

Kevin does an excellent job in offering suggestions on what may or may not look good, but yet still respecting the desires of the homeowner and their particular taste in design. He also is excellent at communication – I knew what was going on just about every day and Kevin kept us posted on what to expect next and then kept us on track with decision-making.

The pool turned out even better than I had hoped! Many of the final design and color concepts were Kevin’s suggestions and it looks wonderful. The quality of the work is far superior than any other pools I have seen built. It’s also worth noting that they installed our decking (travertine) and again, it turned out perfectly. Our backyard is now an extension of our home and I have Crystal Pools to thank for this! I would strongly recommend them and would certainly use them if/when we move again.

We were first introduced to Mr. Jeff Knot in the early summer of 2006 by our landscaper, while we were receiving estimates on building a pool.This was the first time we had ever attempted to undertake a pool project. Jeff and I talked quite a bit really thought it was simple conversation but in fact it was Jeff subtle way of attempting to find out what we knew about pool building and assessing our needs and wants . There is an enormous amount of detail that goes into building a pool. Initially by comparison Crystal Pools appeared to be the most expensive. THAT IS UNTIL we talked more, compared and realized that the other bids were not what we wanted, were lacking certain features and equipment and were simply NOT the complete package. We could only assume that these other bids were the proverbial attempts at bait and switch Crystals bid was complete and fair. The workmanship, work ethic and overall project were completed in an extremely professional manner, on time and on budget. Despite a few minor changes, which we suspect increased costs, Jeff never asked for a single nickel more than the agreed price. We were subsequently introduced to Kevin and it is apparent that he shares Jeff’s work ethic and professionalism. Jeff explained all we needed to know about operation and maintenance, however being first time pool owners we were still a bit uncertain of even the simplest things. Jeff and Kevin didn’t walk away from us at completion. We call and have an answer. Most times one of them would stop by to make sure we were comfortable. An initial working relationship has grown into a friendship with the Knott Boys. Thinking about building a pool ? Considering CRYSTAL POOLS AND SPAS ? We would without hesitation suggest that you give serious consideration to the Knott Family. They certainly deserve our highest recommendation.

Two words describe Crystal Pools PLEASANT EXPERIENCE! Building a pool can be overwhelming. There are many things to consider. Quality of equipment is the most important: consider strength of the pump with regards to horsepower, the size of the filter, and the size of the actual plumbing pipes under the ground. Customer service for support before, during, and after the sale is next. Size and design follows. I can assure you I did my homework. I interviewed 5 companies over a 3 month period. Learning from one to question another. I researched name brands and horsepower. Sundeck vs. Stamped Concrete vs Travertine Pavers. I slowly eliminated the salesmen and hired the contractor. I created a spreadsheet listing all the components to keep the facts from each company straight: from decking material & size, actual square footage of the pool to include length & width figures, pump size, horsepower, chlorine / salt system brand, length, width, height of the waterfall. Get everything in email or writing with regards to specifics so that you can know who has what to offer. Be certain if you are pricing travertine pavers with one you are not getting a price for sundeck with the other. Size of the pool and decking can be a tricky component. If you do not feel confident in the answer to your question, try asking another way. If you still get a funny feeling go with your gut and eliminate. Kevin was immediate each time I contacted him during the entire process. I asked a ton of questions. Crystal Pools is a Hands On operation. Kevin does not delegate to the subs, he supervises the entire process from start to finish, each step: layout, digging, gunite, plumbing (did I mention he does this himself), tile, decking, plaster, water and setup with instructions. Then, for those of us that need a little extra instruction, not a problem, even when Kevin was in a tree waiting out a deer, he gave direction from his phone. I cannot express enough how satisfied we are and the calm to know we have support for any challenges we may face as new pool owners. Although price is a factor in your decision, the saying, you get what you pay for is a reality. Adding paint to an old car does not make it new; its what you don’t see under the hood that keeps the car running. When you have a contractor who answers the phone and does not run from a question after the last check is written, he is standing behind his work. When I look in my yard I am confident we made the correct decision to hire Crystal Pools.
